For the love of Shoes...... Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday ladies!  This was a chocolate cake filled with caramel/chocolate cream cheese and iced in a light vanilla butter-cream.  Each side of the shoe box was customized to each of the ladies and their age, name, shoe size etc...  Smith was their last name, hense the custom designer name.  The shoe was made of gumpaste.

An elegant and very fun cake to satisfy mom and daughter and their favourite things - chocolate and shoes!!!

Batman Birthday

Batman showed up in his batmobile this weekend......  desguised as a vanilla cake filled with vanilla mousse and iced in butter-cream.  Robin was no where to be found, but Batman was looking good with his utility belt and bat symbols!!

Welcome baby Emma

Welcome baby Emma!!  This past weekend I had the opportunity to welcome baby Emma into the world.  This cake was made specifically for her and her family.  A vanilla cake with a strawberry-pastry-cream filling and iced in a "super-sweet" butter-cream.  The baby was made of gum paste and the floral and polka-dot décor of fondant.
